Continuing on with producing features that our customers request, Avantex are proud to offer the ability to create your own custom menus within CableSolve. Menus such as 'telnet', 'ssh', 'browse' or 'ping' can be created and further enhance the usability of your inventory database.

Database Build
Avantex are able to assist new and existing customers in the building of their CableSolve database.
This may be for a brand new site, or for an expansion to an existing site. If the customer is able to provide as-builds, and/or the Cable Test Results (ie, Fluke Records), then the information can be manipulated within spreadsheets and passed directly to the client for importing.
Avantex also offer our clients a full turn-key approach if required. Entire Data Centre's or buildings can be created, including the import of assets, cabling infrastructure, and finishing off with a complete audit of the site.
Policies and Procedures
Avantex have provided many organisations help with the Policies and Procedures relating to Inventory, Change Management and IT Life Cycle.
From our experience, CableSolve helps to drive an improvement in the above areas, as staff will be required to either use new processes to ensure that the system is kept up-to-date, or to work with existing procedures and modify them accordingly to include the new process flow.
Auditing
CableSolve has been fitted to many organisations, both for 'green field' sites, and for existing populated sites.
As part of the process, it is recommended that an Audit of the equipment and connectivity is done after the system infrastructure and data has been entered in to the database.
Avantex can help organisations in this area, either through training internal staff, training external contractors, or by providing our own staff to site.
Training
Avantex offers flexible training options to suit the requirements of every organisation and individual.
Private training sessions for a minimum of 4 users can be run on location or at one of our central training facilities. Avantex will, throughout the year, offer public training courses, where individual users can attend for introductory, refresher or advanced training sessions.
